FAQs

  • As a solo therapist in private practice, I am not able to support client’s in crisis.

This is not because I do not want to help or that there is something wrong with you if you are in crisis. Sexual violence is a crisis and it makes sense when it is responded to in that way.

It is because I do not have the resources and coverage to be on-call as I am with clients most of day.

  • No. There are many ways of healing and processing that do not require talking. Talking in detail about what happened is not required to heal.

With that being said, you are welcome to share what feels helpful to put in words.

Often, sharing and putting experiences into words can help decrease, shame and confusion.

We will explore what is most supportive for you together. I will honor your unique needs.

  • Feel like we might be a good fit? Schedule a 20 min phone call. You can ask any questions you have and share what it is you are wanting support with. If it feels like a good fit for both of us, we could set an appointment to get started from there. If not, I will do my best to point you in the direction of someone who might be able to support you.
